Sponars Chalet

Sponars ski accommodation is situated at 1500 meters altitude in the Kosciuszko National Park, just 8 kilometers from Perisher Ski Resort. Sponars is an owner operated Chalet. It is a historic, well known landmark, a traditional ski lodge offering a unique snow holiday.

Our lodge sits on the site of the original Kosciuszko Hotel whose Grand Slam Ski run was the first commercial ski slope in the Snowy Mountains area, just 24 kilometers from Jindabyne. The lodge offers the best value hotel accommodation in the snow.

We accommodate 100 guests in comfort with all rooms having en-suite facilities. Unlike most ski lodges in the snow, Sponars has a free car-park for guests right at the front door. Catch our courtesy bus to Smiggin Holes and Perisher Ski Resort during shoulder and peak seasons.

Facilities are excellent with an indoor heated pool, steam room, ski hire at the lodge, bar and restaurant with an open fire and games room. There is everything you need for your perfect ski holiday.
