Southern Swan

John completed his Pharmacy degree at Sydney University and worked at various locations in SA and NSW.
Experiences on his travels to the UK and Europe led John to undertake studies in Anthroposophy at Emerson College in the UK and later to work at the Ita Wegman Clinic in Arlesheim,Switzerland.
Here he gained the knowledge, understanding and skills to prepare medicines by hand, according to Anthroposophical principles.
On returning to Australia, John established himself at Pennant Hills Pharmacy in Sydney, where he has dispensed conventional medicines to the local community and prepared and dispensed Anthroposophical and Homoeopathic medicines, creams etc to local, national and international customers for the past 20 years.
John, his wife Kate and their son Thomas have now moved to Cygnet,Tasmania, an area becoming known for its Artisan Producers.
At the new premises of Southern Swan, John will continue his 'artisan' pharmaceutical work, focusing his skills and energy on the preparation of Anthroposophical and Homoeopathic medicines... "hand -made in small batches".
