Southern Cross Cheerleading

Southern Cross Cheerleading is an all star cheerleading club based in the inner northern suburb of Northcote. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and supportive environment for our athletes and teams to mature into true ambassadors for our amazing sport.

We are lucky enough to have athletes of all ages and abilities, including world championship calibre athletes. We have a passion to help progress all of our athletes to skill levels they would not have thought possible before starting at SCC.

After what has been an amazing season in 2016 which started with our 2nd place finish at the Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando, Florida and Grand Champions (Cheer) at the Global Dance and Cheer Games in Waikiki, Hawaii we are excited to continue the success SCC has experienced. We are always looking for new athletes and if you are interested there are a number of ways to become a member of our family. You can attend a placement day or through a private tryout.

When you contact the club we will request some basic information about yourself and any related experience you may have. Through this information we can then recommend the best way for you to get started. Everyone who is interested in SCC is offered a place in our program. We ensure that we place each individual athlete where they will be best suited for their own progression and for the progression of the teams.

We are a purpose built facility and are equipped with the following:
- Two (2) full sized sprung floors (9 run)
- 7 x 12m sprung dance floor
- Air tumble track & trampoline tumble track
- Various tumble shapes
- Multiple crash mats
- Weights and conditioning area
- Athlete room
- Parent waiting room
- Gym reception area
