SORT Recycling Tweed Heads

SORT Recycling Limited is a not-for-profit start-up social enterprise that works with the waste management industry to create new jobs for disadvantaged job seekers (mainly young people) in this rapidly changing sector.

We focus on computer refurbishment and recycling eWaste. We start with computers, laptops, TVs and related items donated at drop-off centres across South East Queensland. We sort them and then take them through a systematic process that makes sure we extract the maximum value from every component.

When you donate your old PCs, laptops and other eWaste (printers, faxes, etc.), we:

Sort it
Refurbish it
Dismantle it
Sell parts and components
Sell the material – plastics, metal, PC boards
And turn it all into jobs for disadvantaged job seekers!
