Location
Perched above an ancient cave in Lawson, in the heart of the amazing World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains of NSW Australia, SongCave is just 1 hour and 20 minutes drive from the busy hustle and bustle of Sydney’s CBD.
Lawson and Hazelbrook Railway stations and Village shopping centres are within walking distance – since we charge by the song and not by the hour -you can take your time and relax whilst creating music!
The studio backs onto a green bushland valley with a private solar heated, salt water swimming pool and BBQ area - making for a fertile creative environment.
Heritage
SongCave Blue Mountains Recording Studios acknowledges that we are located on the traditional lands of the Darug and Gundungurra peoples.
Eliot Reynolds’ family has a long association with the Blue Mountains and were among the first European settlers in Katoomba (Crushers) dating back to the mid 1800s. Captain Robert Henry Reynolds’ sold part of his land to John North who is remembered as the Father of Katoomba.
