Probably best and most accurately described as an amateur hack with delusions of mediocrity, soflfah has spent decades wasting film (subsequently o's &1's) in hope of that 1 half decent photo.
Growing up on the eastern side of australia I was only used to ever seeing the sun pop its head up out of thee ocean and not slowly dip into the ocean each night as I now get to enjoy having moved over to the western side of australia.
After about the first 8 years I graduated to being given a real camera and not simply pulling my eye lid down and saying "click".
By age 13 I bought my first SLR, the ever reliable pentax K1000, which served me well.
Then some 15 +years later finally updated the equipment to an pother Pentax withe the K100d (6 mega pixels). We then wait until 2017 before I decided to totally change things up and bought my latest camera that has 24 megapixels.
This time I bought a.....Pentax KP and handed down my K100 to the potentially more talented artist in the house (my 5yo daughter).
Despite a large outlay of fund I am still on the seemingly now eternal quest to take just one half decent photo...how ever it may be a quest I end up leaving to the Padawan.
