Sled Dog Adventures Tasmania

Our huskies have come to us from many varying and different situations but what they all have in common is that they have all been rescued and rehomed with us.

We are passionate about giving these beautiful dogs a forever home where they can do what they love, from running freely in large acreage to swimming, to foraging for the many fruits in our gardens and what gets them really excited is putting on a harness and going for a run through our temperate forests. You can join us and have a variety of different sled dog experiences from a guided sit down sled dog ride with a team of huskies pulling you through the bush, or using our Mushing Pro kickbike scooters a beginner’s solo sled dog ride, an intermediate sled dog ride or the advanced sled dog ride.

To us the most important aspect in what we do here at Sled Dog Adventures Tasmania is our dog’s happiness and their health and wellbeing. They are and will always be our number one priority. For all participants you will participate in an introductory session on the wellbeing of these animals before commencing your activity and only when we are satisfied that they will be treated with kindness and respect will participants be able to advance to the next stage.

Bookings are essential as participant numbers are limited – All tours are weather dependent.
