Skylark Circus Summer Camp

Skylark Circus camp is open to all kids and teens aged 8-18. You don’t need to have a background in circus or gymnastics; you just need to have an open mind and a willingness to give things a go.

Skylark Circus Camp is a fun-filled week of laughter, friendships, amazing feats and spectacular challenges. Skylark Circus Camp gives kids the opportunity to experience the joy of summer camp with its memories of friendship and camp fires, combined with the playfulness and unique daring of the circus arts.

A typical day at Skylark Circus Camp consists of:
Wake up, healthy breakfast and clean up

Morning yoga (to physically and mentally prepare the body for the day to come)

Separate into three groups for circus skills – 2 hours of each activity daily with a healthy lunch and snacks throughout the day!
1. Flying trapeze
2. Aerials (static trapeze, silks, hammock, aerial hoop)
3. Tumbling, acrobatics, juggling, roller boller, mini-trampoline and more

Free time and afternoon camp activities including swimming and canoeing in the lake, ball games, bush walking, team building games and more! As a special treat campers will also have a chance to use the 50 meter water slide and Indiana Jones style Sky Bridge!

A healthy dinner and clean up

Evening camp activities including a night hike, outdoor cinema, games and challenges and more!

Bed time – camping 5 star style!

All tents are mounted on timber platforms with their own deck, have built in bunk beds, lighting and power to all tents. The tents are permanent accommodation and house up to 6 people in each. The tents are arranged in a village fashion and staff members will be in close contact at all times.
