Our journey began some 6760 years ago, when our forefathers established the very first food hub, nestled upon the fertile land between two rivers, The Tigris and The Euphrates, the Cradle of Civilisation- known as Assyria.
Today, we continue that culture and tradition of food preparation and preservation. Often we reflect back on the entrenched memories of generations gone, drawing on the hard earned harvest of produce, preparing and preserving for the winter seasons. They drew upon all of their resources, including legumes, handmade cheeses, meats, fruits, vegetables, nuts and not forgetting the wine.
Right from the very beginning food was an continues to be the focal point of all our gatherings and it's considered highly respectful for a host to prepare a feast for guests.
This is what we are endeavouring to cultivate and further refine with a journey into our global food store.
With our travels to Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas we have brought home ideas to share and experience with our customers.
