Shootbox Fitness & Self Defence is a modern-day system suitable for men, women & children. With no ego's, yelling or belts, there is just a simple armband to signify rank.

Head trainer Garry Smith is the current state Kudo Heavyweight champion, and has studied Martial Arts for over 20 years. He has won a variety of state, national, pan pacific and world championships, bringing in Gold, Silver and Bronze in Judo, Boxing, Jiujitsu, Eskrima (Filipino stick fighting) and has practiced and competed in San Shou (Chinese Kickboxing).

His passion is empowering people. Helping them to unlock their potential, believe in themselves and be confident in who they are.

Garry runs a number of different classes, with something suitable for any age, and fitness ability.

Our current training schedule is:

Monday: 6.30pm - 7.30pm Shootbox KIDS, suitable from 6yrs up to 15yrs.

Tuesday: 6.30pm - 7.30pm Shootbox WOMEN: teaching women basic self defence tactics, as well as increasing overall fitness and confidence.

Thursday: 6pm - 7:30pm Shootbox MEN: suitable for all ranges, from beginner - to current champions.

Private Classes are held upon request.
