The Shire of Korong was a local government area about 75km west-northwest of Bendigo in western Victoria, Australia. The shire covered an area of 238.5km2, and existed from 1862 until 1995.HistoryKorong was first incorporated as a road district on 8 July 1862, and became a shire on 6 September 1864.
