Shepparton Women's Health Centre

We are delighted to announce that the Shepparton Women's Health Centre is now open, offering a range of expert health practitioners and services to provide preventative and curative health care treatment, including:

- Dr Margreet Stegeman, gynaecologist and obstetrician;
- Fiona Wieland, a physiotherapist, who specialises in bladder, bowel and pelvic floor issues;
- Carole McGregor, a psychologist who has a special interest in couples therapy and sexual health;
- Gay Giovanetti and Donna Rumbiolo, pap smear nurses;
- GPs with an interest in women’s health and antenatal services;
- Dorevitch Pathology, on site, making diagnostic testing quick and easily accessible.

Health services offered at the centre include advice and treatment of fertility issues, menstrual problems, polycystic ovarian syndrome, sexually transmitted infections, pre-conception counselling, peri-menopausal complaints, antenatal services, endometriosis, continence issues, contraception issues, prolapse issues and all psychological aspects of women's health.

The centre is located in the old UNA House building, 100-104 Corio St, Shepparton. Beautifully renovated, the new facility offers patients privacy during consultations with practitioners, as well as easy access car parking facilities.

The breadth of services being offered under one roof is a first for the City of Shepparton.

Women now have access to holistic advice when seeking treatment locally for their specific health issues. Practitioners with a special interest in women's health are in a good position to provide a collaborative approach to woman–centred health care.
