The Shepparton Rowing Club was created on 31 Oct 1884. It lapsed in the 1960s.
The fine rowing club building, where Aquamoves now stands, was pulled down.
The current Club was reformed at a public meeting held at the TAFE College on 27July 2011. The reformation of the Club followed the redevelopment of VictoriaPark Lake from 2008-2010.
