Here at Shear Comfort Air Conditioning we are a true family owned and operated business. My parents started their air conditioning & heating business in 1971 under the name of “Nicholson Installations Pty Ltd”. We decided to take over from my parents after my father Gary semi-retired in 2003, and although he’s still actively involved, Gary has taken a backseat.

My husband Neville has been a local Macarthur resident for over 30 years. We worked for my parents for many years prior to taking over in 2003. We then changed the name to “Shear Comfort Air Conditioning Pty Ltd” (Our licence number is 152237C and our ABN number is 17 104 384 536). Our son Braiden also joined us in 2006, making a third generation, truly family-owned and operated business.

Our service to our clients provides 100% satisfaction due to our commitment to outstanding quality of workmanship. We take pride in our work, which comes with 40 years experience in the Air Conditioning Industry.

We live and work in the Macarthur area, servicing area’s from Liverpool to Wollongong, including the Southern Highlands.

Residential work and looking after people’s homes is our bread and butter, however we’ve done big jobs too: Restaurants, schools/government buildings and hotels. We also work for a lot of local builders and real estate’s agents in the Macarthur area, so you can be confident we have the experience you need. We can provide you with the right advice and the right solution.
