Shanon MicKimmie dressage provides a boutique dressage and young horse training service for horse owners looking for high quality results for their horse. With an extremely solid background in managing and training high performance dressage horses Shanon has expertise in training and competing horses all the way from starting young horses to Grand Prix.

Shanons compassionate yet systematic approach to training builds confidence in her horses, allowing them every opportunity to perform at their best. With consideration to all aspects of performance horse management Shanons high level of care ensures all horses are in peak condition and physically and mentally able to deal with their training.

After 14 years intensive training at Statene Park under the guidance of multiple olympian , Mary Hanna, Shanon has considerable experience in managing some of the worlds top performance horses and brings that knowledge into her own operation now based at Hardwick Park. Shanon has also had the opportunity to train with some of the worlds best riders in Steffen Peters, Kyra Kyrkland, Helen Langenhanburg, and most recently world number 1 Charlotte Durjardin.

Shanon can provide all aspects of horse training services including starting and young horse training, competition of all levels and sale preparation. Long and short term arrangements can be negotiated. Shanon has also recently started her NCAS intro and level 1 coaching and is available for lessons and clinics state wide.

Under Shanons care at Hardwick Park your horse will be kept in a safe and relaxed environment with horse numbers limited to ensure high quality 24 hour care. Individual day paddocks with lane ways and high quality pasture are provided for all horses and stabling can also be arranged. Your horse will be worked on a world-class geo textile surface in the newly built indoor arena. The facility also provides a comfortable a viewing room with heating and cooling and kitchenette, a clean and organized tack room where you preferred tack will be kept, cross ties and a hot/cold wash bay plus an additional full size outdoor arena.
