Shangri-La Gardens combines three inter-related businesses. The Function Centre, which has been Shangri-La Gardens traditional business for the last 63 years and a 40 room, 4-star boutique motel as well as Sylvia’s Restaurant and Wine Bar.
Shangri-La Gardens boutique motel is situated in Wynnum West on Brisbane's Bayside and is proud to be part of the Clem Jones Group. All our rooms feature king or queen beds with luxurious bed linen, bedside tables and lamps, ensuite bathrooms with shower or bathtub, air conditioning, sofa bed, widescreen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge, opening windows, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, additional sink, free internet access via both wi fi & Ethernet, own phone number and voice mail, swimming pool and free parking. Breakfast is available from Monday to Friday in Sylvia’s restaurant.
Sylvia’s Restaurant and Wine Bar has been named to honour Sylvia Jones, wife of Brisbane's Lord Mayor, Ald Clem Jones and Lady Mayoress of Brisbane from 1961-1975.
Now celebrating 10 years of operation, Sylvia’s really has become a favourite among our regular motel guests and residents alike. Sylvia’s is open for breakfast from Monday to Friday and for dinner from Monday to Saturday.
