Shadow-World Photography

Misty Shadow-World presents you with her freelance project, Shadow-World Photography, for a different, perhaps darker and more macabre view of the ordinary. Look through the eyes of the shadow-dweller for a different point of view, you may even find a touch of the mystical and mysterious.

Misty enjoys many subject matters, but her focus is on horror/gothic/fantasy themed shoots. Her rates are:
$50= half hour shoot with 3 hi-res edited images
$100= 45 min shoot with 8 hi-res edited images
$150= hour shoot with 15 hi-res edited images
Gigs: $100-$150 for the night
Events: $250-$1500
Portrait session (bands/pets/families+): From $150

Misty studied Writing and Photomedia at Edith Cowan University from 2006-2008. She has had a passion for photography most of her life. Her first shoot was for Reapers Riddle in September 2008. This partnership has continued, having had work published in newspapers, online magazines and on Reapers Riddle's latest EP "A Touch of Death". A band photo she took is published on the back cover (edited by Clayton Mitchel, vocalist of Reapers Riddle).

Misty has worked with a lot of local bands from 2008 to the present. Some bands include Cold Fate, Matty Trash and The Horrorbles, The Last Day of May, Nightmare Effect, Blunt Force Trauma and Bloodklot. She has spent several years doing live gig photography for Metal bands. Including weekly photography at Wired at Black Betty's every Thursday night in 2012.

In June 2011 HEXX nightclub began and Miss Shadow-World begun working as a club photographer doing social photography there for several months.

Around the same time, she purchase a small studio in Malaga called Make Believe Photographic Studio which she ran successfully for five years before deciding it was time to move on.
