Sea Turtle Swim School

Hi! My name is Cathy Burbridge. I have been a swim teacher for 6 years now. My passion is water safety and passing on a love for the water to the people I teach. In July 2016 I was very fortunate to be awarded the Austswim 2016 Swim Teacher of the Year award. I am very privileged to be in a position to set up this small swim school at my home. Here, I plan to gently teach babies, young children and adults to swim in what I think are the most beautiful surroundings in Perth. There will only be one class at a time, so my pupils will feel comfortable and safe with no noisy distractions (except maybe a noisy ringneck or kookaburra!). We will have a 'home from home" atmosphere where people can blossom and develop that love of the water and hopefully our natural surroundings at the same time. My other tow teachers are Mike and Brigit, and as a team we are passionate about water safety and teaching babies, kids and adults alike a love of water and swimming.
