Scotch College South Australia Cycling Club

Our official name is the Scotch College South Australia Cycling Club Incorporated (SCSACC), but 'Scotch Cycling' rolls off of the tongue quite nicely. Feel free to use either.

We know that cycling is a very positive activity to engage in. It breeds passion, resilience, knowledge, strength, camaraderie and respect for people and the environment. It promotes physical, mental and emotional health. It is great fun and very rewarding.

Membership of Scotch College Cycling Club is more than just membership of a really progressive community of friends with a heap of benefits. It is engagement with a unique club in the Scotch community - one that spans the demographic from reception to old age. A common thread that cultivates contact between campuses, between Old Collegians, students, staff, parents and friends, that breaks the mould and allows members to engage in a positive and exciting activity to whatever degree they want, as seriously as they want and as competitively or 'recreationally' as they want. As a member you can engage with Scotch Cycling as a pleasure seeker, a leisure seeker, a solo athlete or as a member of a team, a mechanic, a spectator, a scholar, an administrator, a commuter or any combination of those things.

Our vision is that the adult members of the club community will surround and support the student members, providing them with the resources that they require to positively engage in cycling as a form of recreation, transport or competition - thus promoting the health of all members.
