Sarah's Family Day Care - Broadford

My Name is Sarah, I’m 27 years old and mother to 2 beautiful children.

I'm an approved educator with "KIDS MATTER" Family day care, who recently won Family Day Care Australia's - 'Victorian Service of the year 2014'. Their service is also rated as overall exceeding national quality standards. I have many years’ experience working with babies and children of all ages in addition to my relevant qualifications.

I provide quality home based education and care for infants and children of all ages, in a fun, loving, family environment. My service is Child Care Rebate and Child Care Benefit approved for eligible families, which allows you to claim back costs through Centrelink. Meals are provided with my service and each week a menu is provided that's fresh, nutritional and well balanced.

I also offer care for:
Before and after school, school holidays, nights and early mornings (ideal for shift workers), casual and overnight care.

I have all my relevant qualifications and checks listed below:
- Certificate III in Children's Services
- First aid and CPR Certificate
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate
- Current National Police Check
- Working with Children Check

I believe in providing children with a safe, clean and happy learning environment where they can play, learn, laugh and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially at their own pace and that they should be treated with equality, and their individuality and diversity embraced and encouraged. I like to encourage active and imaginative minds and believe that children learn through play and exploration and benefit from a structured, yet flexible learning environment.

I incorporate the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) into my practice and through ongoing observations and evaluations I base my activities, experiences, outings and interactions around the needs, interests and personalities of each individual child in my care.

I providing quality education and care for children in my home and to provide them with a loving, caring, nurturing, environment that promotes each child’s learning and development, self-esteem and individuality, while having lots of fun.
