The Salisbury Country Fire Service are volunteers professionally protecting the community.
The name CFS is traditionally associated with the country however the Salisbury CFS work on the urban fringe meaning their response types maybe not what you would expect.
Salisbury CFS attends anywhere between 300-600 calls a year. These calls range from structure fires, vehicle fires, road crash rescues, vehicle accidents, rubbish fires as well as attending to fire alarm calls. Then there are the more traditionaltype calls that you would associate with the CFS such as grass fires, bushfires etc. The CFS response typeshave also expanded to see more attendance during extreme weather such as tree downs, flooding etc.
