An open conversation between the SA SES and the public is always beneficial. However, when commenting on this page, we expect that you will follow these guidelines.

Please do not:

1. Swear. Do not post any profanities, abusive or defamatory language;

2. Harass. Do not make personal attacks against other users. Do not post anything that could be considered prejudicial, off-topic, inflammatory, vexatious, offensive or otherwise inappropriate;

3. Advertise or spam. Topics, comments & links that advertise external private or commercial entities are not allowed. Repetitive posting of information, commonly known as “spamming” is also not allowed;

4. Post privileged & private information. Do not post any information or data to the page that might be considered private, confidential, classified or protected. Do not post any personal or sensitive information about others. Posting information regarding victims can be distressing for them and their family members. Please think before you post; or

5. Respond to moderation issues. If you have an issue with a moderator’s action, please contact us by personal message. If someone insults you, do not respond as it may also inflame a sensitive situation instead contact a moderator.

Complaints about offensive material should be made directly to Facebook.

It is inappropriate to discuss or debate the causes or blame for any incidents or events we post about.

Any comment deemed to breach these guidelines will be subject to deletion. Users found to be repeatedly breaching these guidelines will be banned from this page.
