We’re surrounded by timeless moments with friends and family and immense beautify large and small in our everyday surroundings, even in the form of abandonment and my passion is to appreciate and capture these.

As the years pass, I realize more and more how important it is for me to capture moments. Be it family and friends, small road trips, travels and forgotten history.

Quality time spent with family and friends is priceless. These are moments that you can never get back but photos serve to preserve these for a lifetime.

We’re also surrounded by forgotten environments and historic icons that have been neglected or left to decay by the elements of nature. Some we pass everyday and barely given a second glance and it’s this beauty and history that I want to showcase. Look past the dust and the decay and the dirt and you’ll see inherent beauty in the buildings themselves and admire the architectural detail or see obscure items that have been left behind, flattened or trodden on and slowly degraded over time and what’s left is exquisite detail of various stages of decay. These places tell a story, have a past, have a history and I try to capture this in not just how it looks, but how it felt to be there and at times aim to provide insight into how these locations came to be in the derelict state and the history that once was.

My travel photographer merely provides a visual record of the places I’ve visited over the years and there is beauty right here in our backyard. One doesn’t’ necessarily always have to travel thousands of km’s away to experience it.

Here on my page and website, I want to share the places around us that I find unique and beautiful and worthy of a shout out, our landscaping that is captivating and encapsulates unique moments in time and highlight macro versions of elements within these unique locations.
