Rural and Indigenous Health Society UTS - RIHS

Our society aims to raise awareness of problems faced by rural and indigenous communities in regards to the 5 A’s of health (Affordability, Availability, Accessibility, Accommodation, Acceptability). We aim to create a forum of discussion about these issues and encourage networking of students across varying disciplines. We hope to promote student participation in these communities by delivering opportunities for skilled & unskilled members to contribute to this cause through fundraising, volunteer work and field trips. We aim to deliver the latest information in current news including research, events and other noteworthy information that is related to rural and indigenous health through our social media page and member meetings.
