The Royal Hotel was built in 1872 as one of 28 pubs built during the gold rush era. It was originally designed to cater for some of the 8000 people who had moved to Hill End to strike it lucky and is now the last pub standing in Hill End. If you walk through the hotel you can still feel the nostalgia of the gold rush days blended with the modern day comforts of the 21st century.
The Royal Hotel is open 7 days a week 365 days a year
