The Rotary Club of Geraldton-Greenough was chartered in 1986 and currently meets on Wednesday mornings, 6.45am for a 7.00am start.
The club has for many years supported New Generations projects including:- Rotary Youth Exchange, Rotary Four-Way Speaking Test, National Youth Science Forum and aim to get involved in the Rotary Young Driver Awareness Program.
Our major fundraisers are Red Hill, an outdoor concert event; Legacy Golf Day and Geraldton's Big Quiz Night.
Our local Community Service beneficiaries include:- HMAS Sydney Memorial Project 1-5, Midwest Football Academy, PCYC, Carnarvon Flood Relief, Geraldton Branch of Legacy, and many more.
Other organisations to receive our support within Australia include:- Activ Foundation, Cancer Research, Shelter Box, Yellow Ribbon, Cord Blood Bank Perth, Heart Foundation, RFDS, Prostate Awareness & Australian Rotary Health Research Foundation.
Our International beneficiaries include:- Rotary Eradicate Polio Program, Medicines Abroad/Australian Doctors in Africa, Parcels for East Timor, Sustainable Cambodia Australia, Books for Zimbabwe, Rotary Foundation, Tsunami Appeal & Fiji Clean Water.
