Rosebud Toy Library

The Rosebud Toy Library is a non-profit, community managed organisation that provides a toy lending service to families on the Mornington Peninsula.

We are located at Shop 1, Rosebud Central Shopping Centre (Across from the Rosebud Cinema).

Membership Fees (12 month membership)*:

2 Children $45
3+ Children $50

Concession and pension card holders rates:

I Chid $30
2 Children $35
3+ Children $40

*A $30 Refundable duty bond is also payable in your first year of membership. Please see the co-ordinator when signing up for further details on the bond.

Membership allows each child to borrow 3 toys at a time from our general collection of over 2000 toys. A very limited number of toys such as the Jumping Castles attract additional fees.

For over thirty years, the toy library has maintained a meaningful connection with families within the community, and is proud to provide high quality educational toys for children to aid their developmental values. The Toy Library is a great place to meet other parents, to learn about the importance of play, and to gain advice about child development.

Our Toy Library caters for children 1 month old to 10 years of age, and there is ample space for your children to play and test the toys out before hiring, so feel free to look around at your leisure. The play opportunities are endless!

All of our toys are chosen for high quality, durability, enjoyment and developmental value, including assisting children with special needs.

In 2015 our fundraising efforts will be particularly directed towards increasing the services we offer the community, including the introduction of regular Wednesday "Stay and Play" Sessions which run 11.15am - 12pm during School Terms.
