About Francesca

Francesca was introduced to horses as an eight year old and never did grow out of the “I love ponies stage”! After high school she completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Equine Science), Honours, at the University of Queensland and continues to add to her education in all things equine. She is currently a Level 2 Equine Bodyworker through Equinology Inc. with additional studies in saddle fitting, anatomy and biomechanics and is currently enrolled in the Diploma of Equine Podiotherapy with the Australian College of Equine Podiotherapy in Victoria, to be completed in 2016.


With a background in Dressage, her interests also include schooling in hand, straightness training, horse archery and managing horses in a way that looks after the health of the land.



After witnessing and making her own mistakes as a result of lack of knowledge, she has become passionate about the education of horse owners and riders in the management and handling of their horses.

In 2014 she decided to turn her passion into her work and Rockmount Equine Services was started.

Rockmount Equine Services are currently offering the following services;

•Equine bodywork and stretching


•Trimming


•Saddle fit


•Painted horse and anatomy information/hands on sessions for pony clubs or riding groups
