A live, loud & local ‘family friendly’ music showcase event

Live music fans of the Douglas, Cairns and Tablelands regions, you’re all invited to join in some ol’ school Port Douglas good times at the first Rock the Yacht for 2015, Saturday the 2nd of May from 3pm til late.

Rock the Yacht is a Port Douglas institution. Just ask the locals. Showcasing a diverse and genuine grassroots blend of some of the best artists from across North Queensland, RTY is an honest and humble collective of homegrown talent and small town goodness. The arvo is always about the kids who usually take over until sunset with their own mini mosh pit. As the sun sets the big kids take the lead soaking up the vibes and making the most of enjoying live music as it should be…honest, real and a little bit loud.
