About Me:

My name is Robyn Verdel. I am a qualified acupuncturist registered under the Australian and Chinese Medical Association (AACMA) and Chinese Medical Board of Australia (CMBA). I have owned and run a practice in Biloela which by necessity treated all presenting pathologies within a 500 kilometre radius. I have also been part of a fertility clinic in Brisbane and have worked with IVF. I also used laser acupuncture particularly for addictions or young children.

About Acupuncture:

The body basically consists of vibrating atoms, chemicals (hormones) and water. If the vibrations are ‘off’ the immune system weakens and disease in its many forms has a chance to obtain a foothold.

Acupuncture is all about energy or Qi (pronounced chee) and balancing/harmonizing the above by judicious placement of needles. Although this form of healing has a history of at least 5000 years it amazes me how the ancient Chinese worked this out and how closely Acupuncture and Western Medicine is aligned. Being the flexible modality that it is, enables acupuncture to constantly evolve with the changing lifestyles and environments in which we live.

Can acupuncture fix everything? Of course not, but it does have pretty amazing capabilities through a wide spectrum of disorders
