RMIT Textile Design and Development

We deliver a 3 year Part time Certificate IV and a 2 year full time Advanced Diploma in Textile Design Development and Production. We work in fantastic facilities and you will have full access to textile screen printing, weaving, and machine knitting studios to bring your ideas to life.

This program is perfect if you have an interest in craft, art and design, and want to take a hands on approach to create tangible objects / product output. You will also study current manufacturing technology and processes for developing commercially viable collections.
Many students become designer/makers for their own brands, whilst others have successfully secured positions as commercial designers.
