Riverina Institute Health & Community Services

The Health & Community Services Faculty at Griffith campus is part of TAFE NSW Riverina Institute.
The Institute provides vocational education and training programs and services, apprenticeships and traineeships, and TAFE NSW industry recognised VET qualifications.

In 2010, TAFE NSW registered as a higher education provider, enabling Riverina Institute to plan to deliver a variety of Bachelor degree courses.

In 2010, Riverina Institute provided education and training services to 36,090 students through 20 campuses and speciality centres across the Riverina region.

Riverina Institute students can train on-the-job, in workplace study groups, through distance education, or in off-the-job work environments at their local campuses, some of which have been set up to replicate real-world child care and nursing settings.
Training involves a significant amount of practical experience in the workplace, with strong support and guidance from teachers and mentors.
