Reynella Kindergarten & Playgroup

Since 1975 this purpose-built site was known as "Reynella South Kindergarten". The kindy was renamed "Reynella Kindergarten" in October 2013 to reduce confusion with a neighbouring site.

The brick structure provides an open plan indoor learning environment with full kitchen, which our children access for supervised cooking.

Our centre has a maximum capacity of 30 enrolments so we pride ourselves in being a small, caring and community-minded kindergarten.

The large, leafy outdoors and covered verandah offers children a wide choice of learning activities including bike riding, climbing, a large sandpit, swings, a flat grassed area and a large cubby house for tea parties and important office work.

The sloped part of the garden adds great appeal and the community’s growing interest in sustainability provides learning opportunities to care for plants and animals in and around our vegetable gardens.

Following children's interests, and with support from families and the Natural Resources Management Board, we're developing a new fairy and butterfly garden. Come and visit us soon to see if you can hear any fairy bells!
