Our role

We provide an invaluable support role to commercial vessel operators who rely heavily on reliability and continuity of service for their work vessels. Because commercial work vessels are a considerable long term investment for their owners and operators we see our role as including peace of mind for owners and operators alike. We believe it's vitally important for our clients to know that when maintenance works are required they can make just one phone call and rely completely on the outcome.

Beyond our maintenance services our role extends to include a complete marine engineering, stainless steel fabrication, ship building and vessel re-fit service to keep down time for major works to an absolute minimum; and to offer highly skilled and organised project management services which make ship building to suit real time needs viable.

Who we are

Revolution Marine Services specializes in all facets of the Marine industry - maintenance, re-fits and new-builds, from commercial, luxury and private vessels. Commenced in 2009 and led by business owner David Nielsen who has a passion for the marine industry offering more than 20 years experience as a qualified tradesman. The need for our services was echoed by commercial vessel operators requiring transparent and ethical trade services.

We decided to go further though. Through consultation with our clients we found that there are plenty of trade service providers who offer specialist niche services. What we found was missing was someone who could bring together and properly manage the skills of multiple trade specialists for a 'one stop shop' service that covers everything from planning and design to ship building, project management, all marine engineering, naval welding [aluminium and steel], marine fit out, boat and ship painting, marine electrical and electronics, and scheduled and unscheduled yacht maintenance.

We also found that there was a critical need for overflow labour hire for projects of a short, medium and long term. With critical shortages of top end tradesmen in the marine industry we have made it our business to provide reliable and exceptionally competent personnel on an as needed basis. We also guarantee the quality of the results our team produces so our clients can trust us to solve their issues.
