I have a long and broad background in ICT projects and service delivery, but there's a lot more to me than that. I love solving problems and fixing stuff, and have a strong practical bent. In another lifetime I spent a dozen years in a bike shop, then restoring classic cars in London. I love (snow) skiing, cycling (MTB, Road, trundling to the pub), getting out on (or under) the water, and having fun with the dogs. I’ve also enjoyed working in Aged Care, and of course have Police Clearance.
A little while back I was liberated from an office job and now I’m taking the opportunity to mix it up a little. Here are just some of the things I can offer:
- Complete solutions for small office projects with complex requirements and broad scope. Services include project management, ICT design and implementation, site management of tradespeople, furniture assembly, final commissioning and ongoing maintenance (or any sub-set of the above).
- Handyman services – household repairs. Picture hanging a speciality.
- Ikea furniture assembly – Ninja level. I have a van and can do collection/drop off.
- Wheelchair and walker maintenance (happy to do home visits).
- Bicycle maintenance and repair (mobile service, or can take it away).
- MTB guiding, including transport if required. Kalamunda area day-trips, and Margaret River region guiding, accommodation and facilities (up to 8 people).
- Beekeeping services, including advice and honey extraction (I have all the gear required).
- Dog (and owner) training.
- Proof-reading – I have a fine eye for detail, and can be a grammar-Nazi (as appropriate).
- Garden and semi-rural services, including farm fence repair and clean-ups.
- Ukulele lessons – learn to play a 3-chord song in less than an hour, loan instruments supplied!
