Our RACT branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:45am – 5:00pm.

RACT Roadside Assistance and RACT Insurance claims are available 24/7, 365 days a year.

Our RACT member contact centre is available Monday to Saturday excluding national public holidays. The member contact centre does work state-based holidays, such as Regatta Day and Show Day. The call centre opening hour are 8:00am – 8:00pm (weekdays, including state-based holidays) and 9.00am – 2.00pm (Saturdays).


The Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania (RACT) was established in 1923 to represent the interests of Tasmanian motorists.
