Rachel has been working as a physiotherapist since 2003. Working in Neurological Rehabilitation she has treated people after strokes and with brain injuries. Rachel’s work has taken her to NSW, WA and QLD as well as living and working in Tasmania for over 10 years. She developed an interest in Women’s Health when she noticed that the needs of her clients often intertwined.
Rachel saw people living with neurological disease experiencing bladder and bowel issues; women with sexual pain after car accidents; women with Parkinson’s Disease, MS and post-stroke with pelvic health issues.
Rachel is passionate about women accessing knowledge and treatment, breaking down the taboo of talking about these issues, and now works exclusively in Women’s Health as a result. Rachel achieved her Masters in this area in 2012, and is now titled by The Australian Physiotherapy Association as a Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapist.
Rachel is commited to women's health around the world and will be donating 1% of profits to Hamlin Fistula Foundation.
