Quinns Rocks 3 year old Programme

OUR PROGRAMME
The Quinns Rocks 3 Year Old Programme is a developmental programme for children turning 3 in the enrolling year, or turning 4 after 30th June of the enrolling year.

In the programme, children will

socialise with others and develop friendships;
share and play in groups;
learn simple tasks, such as puzzles, songs and games;
develop listening skills and follow instructions;
gain self confidence and independence;
and, most importantly, have fun!
All these skills will benefit your child and prepare them for formal kindergarten.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Our programme operates without parental attendance, however parents are welcome to come along and help out during their child’s session.

The programme is licensed for 20 children to attend each session.

STAFF QUALIFICATIONS
Mandy, who is a qualified childcare worker, has been coordinating the Quinns Rocks 3 Year Old Programme for over 10 years! She has cared for several children of the same family, many, many times and is well known and regarded for her dedication to encouraging children’s social and emotional development as they prepare to enter traditional schooling. Mandy selects her assistants with great care and all have, or are about to undertake, Certificate III training or have Teacher’s Assistant qualifications. Each session will have a qualified childcare assistant and at least one other assistant. In sessions where children are under 3 years of age, an extra assistant is employed.

All staff have the required Working with Children and Police clearances as well as First Aid training. There are also staff members on the premises who have Epilepsy and Anaphylaxis training.

AGE REQUIREMENTS
The programme is available to any child turning 3, or 4 after the 30th June, in the enrolling year. However, we do not take children already enrolled in formal kindergarten.
