Queens Cottage

The Queen's Cottage was built in 1961 by the Snowy Mountains Authority for
visiting dignitaries and senior management. These included Queen Elizabeth II
and the Duke of Edinburgh, Princess Anne, Governor's General, Government
Ministers and guests.
It was built in a commanding position with stunning views across the township of
Khancoban, the Lady Hudson Rose Garden, Khancoban Lake and towards
Mt. Kosciuszko. The adjacent bushland features abundant bird-life and kangaroos
