Pure Clear Photography

My name is Katherine and i offer professional photography services within Victoria, Australia. I came up with the name Pure Clear Photography when i searched what my name means, and it meant pure clear.

I currently study Diploma of Website Development with Evocca College and Diploma of Photo Imaging with CATC Design School as well as photographing photos since 2008.

Let me give you an idea of the round about way i picked up a camera and found a new interest. It and most of my life revolve around photography. I hadn't had a clue as to what i was going to do with myself, i took a path in nursing then headed straight into photography.

The first time i started out becoming a photographer was in 2008 when i found a passion (and still do) for taking photos at concerts. I was told that a set of photos from a particular concert was amazing and from there it was suggested by a family member i should do more with photography - that's when i started exploring more in the photography field.

Since i was a teenager, i have taking photographs of everyday moments and small happenings in my life, and assembled the photos chronologically into albums. The albums make up bits and pieces of my life story, and tell a bit about who i am, from my perspectives. My life's work is creating photographs and albums that tell stories of moments and happenings in the lives of my photographs.

For three years i would capture photo for bands such as:
-Sound of Seasons EP Launch (Metro Theatre, Sydney)
-Paper Wolves - Penshurst RSL Band Competition
-Drawing North EP Launch (Metro Theatre, Sydney)
-Syndicate - Narellan Town Centre performance and signing
-Justice Crew (Campbelltown RSL), and many more!

Events i have taken photos at include:
1. Hard Rock Cafe Grand Opening, Sydney
2. Bring It On! Festival (part of Youth Week)
3. Australia Day 2012 - Campbelltown
4. TODAY Show - Frankston Beach
5. Rock Out For Reach Out (Erina Fair), and many more!

My best achievements as a photographer was getting the opportunity to shoot photos for former Sydney band, The Catalyst and on the same day got to experience and take photos of them recording their EP. My other two achievements was getting the opportunity to do my sisters maternity photos and taking photos for my partner who is a dubstep music artist.

For me, photography is a great field, it has been my passion since it was suggested i should do more with photography, nowadays, no matter where i am or what i do, i capture just about anything. I like to be independent and better my knowledge in photography everyday. I enjoy capturing all moments by photos. All my photos are unique everytime, as a photographer i try to capture that unique photo.

I describe my photography as real, honest, sincere and amazing. During my years in taking photos, i have honed my aesthetic sensibilities and technical skills. My primary focus is now getting Pure Clear Photography up and running as a business. I approach each session with attention, honesty and happy. I put my heart and soul into my work, and i believe it shows in my photographs.

My story is far from being complete and so is yours.
