Our mission is to help each child to reach their full potential through play.
We are here to support parents, carers and families to choose toys that nurture and engage their child’s development.

Nestled in the Dandenong Ranges and home to the iconic steam train Puffing Billy we are a community based, not-for-profit organisation made up of local parents and volunteers from the surrounding hills district. Located next to the Emerald library, we invite you to visit and view our extensive collection of high quality toys. We value children’s safety, well being and development and pride ourselves on being an inclusive welcoming place for families to connect, learn and support each other.

Members are the lifeblood of our organisation and connect friends old and new who are passionate about making the toy library a place that is as professional as it is welcoming. Our committee runs regular events such as outdoor fun days for the whole family as well as ensuring the smooth operation of the toy library.

We welcome all families to join! By choosing to volunteer your time you receive a concession membership which helps run and maintain the toy library.
