Protea Springs

Protea Springs is a 10 acre working wildflower and alpaca farm. Banksias, Proteas and other varieties of wildflower have been grown here for approximately 30 years. It is one of the few remaining flower farms in the area. A haven for over 20 species of birds!
Upon arrival, enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates while taking in the views over the lower Mt Lofty ranges, McLaren Vale and across Aldinga Bay to the distant coastal headlands.
Inside the studio you will find a full size kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher and microwave oven where you can prepare a delicious feast with local produce.
Reverse cycle airconditioning & heating as well as the wood burning combustion heater will keep you comfortable no matter what time of year you visit.

The neighbourhood

McLaren Vale is only a 9km drive and offers cafes, restaurants, shopping centre and other facilities. There are over 70 cellar doors & wineries all within a very short drive.
Willunga has a fantastic Farmer's Market every Saturday morning with amazing locally grown produce.
