Property Trends was created in 2012 as a response to existing Money Trends clients coming to us seeking advice on making the most out of selling their home, finding a property manager who understands understands what a landlord is looking for or simply learning the next step in wealth creation after benefiting from a mortgage review from Money Trends.

Jodie Hallam is the Founder and Director of Money Trends Pty Ltd, a professional, successful mortgage broking company that has grown over the last 15 years from predominantly word of mouth alone.

Jodie has bought, sold, and been investing in property for over 34 years, made some mistakes, learnt from them but also done plenty of research, seminars and conversing with other successful investors to eventually develop a system of property investment that can create good capital growth as well as a positive cash flow.

The most important lesson for Jodie over this time has been understanding property evolves just like any other market and although there are plenty of general rules that will certainly contribute towards success, you can never stop learning.

Luke Hallam, Jodie’s youngest son has taken that wealth of knowledge and developed his own passion for property.

Constantly studying different types of property and their respective target markets has helped Luke determine realistic valuations and creative improvements to a property which in turn, allows him to create more profitable projects for a wider range of potential investors.

Joining the Money Trends team in 2012, he helped develop Property Trends Investment Criteria and has so far created over $700,000 in capital growth for his client’s, whilst keeping their cash flow in the positive.
