Pro Audio Supplies . . . . . The story so far

Pro Audio Supplies was established way back in 1982 and is now one of Australia's largest privately owned musical instrument retailers, wholesalers and importers. Pro Audio Supplies was the very first company in Australia to offer mail order musical instruments and audio technology. This is evidence of our commitment to bringing music to all Australians no matter where they live.
The first Pro Audio Supplies mail order catalogue was an instant success, revolutionizing the Aussie music industry from that day forward; having a profound effect on the level of service and on the prices of musical equipment around Australia. The catalogue is testament to our on-going commitment to our tens of thousands of loyal customers all over the country.

This tradition and philosophy still strongly continues today, with over 28 years in the business, Pro Audio Supplies is now one of the major forces in the Australian music industry. There would hardly be an Australian muso that has not heard of us or used our services at some point in time. This is because we still firmly believe in looking after our customers. WE offer top-class service – which is why we have a comprehensive in-store service area with two dedicated full time service technicians. Our commitment to superior customer service is reflected in the fact that we will service just about everything we sell.

A few moves and logo modifications later Pro Audio Supplies has retained its original work ethic "WE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!"

However, times have changed and continue to change very quickly thanks to the power of the internet and the ever expanding global economy. You, our customers have changed the way you do business. Frankly here at Pro Audio we have been a bit slow in changing the way we do things. Mainly due to the fact that there are still a few old musos (fogies) at the helm.

Some of us still want to talk to our customers and resist the idea of having a "shopping Cart" on line. How can you be sure the person is buying the right guitar or mic etc. if you don't talk to them. I just got the hang of the fax machine! You get the drift. It's a joke half the staff can text faster than they can talk and do everything on the iphone. Still we hear what you want and Pro Audio provides.

The new website has a lot of new features not least of which is the ability to process online transactions. This means you can now shop and complete your orders in a more convenient and timely fashion. Many of you may still want to talk to a salesperson and we encourage you to do so. We are here to help.

You can be assured that when you communicate with our staff, you will be dealing with experienced musicians who understand and share your passion for music. This is because we have always operated based on the philosophy of "run by musicians for musicians".
