What are Frenchtons you ask?

A Frenchton is a designer breed of dog. A cross between a French Bulldog and a Boston Terrier.

The Frenchton cross was introduced in the 1990's to reduce the genetic disorders often found in the pure breed dogs. Frenchtons are very intelligent and generally a stronger alternative to the purer breeds as they possess qualities of hybrid vigor.

They tend to live well into their teen years.

This cross gives the French bulldog stamina and agility and the Boston terrier body mass.

Frenchtons have reduced respiratory problems as compared to the French bulldog and experience fewer eye problems as compared to the Boston terrier.

Overall Frenchtons tend to be healthier, stronger, social animals that make great family pets. They are indoor dogs playful and fun.

Frenchtons crave human companionship and they love children.

They have short hair and they shed very little which is great for allergy sufferers.

They are small in size and can adapt well to apartment life style living.

They can have a problem in excessive heat and need to be kept cool in summer time. A little baby pool of water and shade is useful for normal summer days. * Please remember that due to their body shape and being chest heavy, usually Frenchtons can't swim and drown, so take care around water.

Both French Bulldogs and Boston Terriers command a high price for their quality, it the same situation for the Frenchton, and their quality and they are priced similarly.

Precious Frenchtons have puppies available from time to time. We provide a birth certificate and history for each puppy born, so you know your puppy is not just a chance mating of a couple of dogs, you will have their parentage.
