Wherever possible we use Organic / Heirloom seeds from reliable sources and an Organic potting mix to grow them in.

The idea of Individual Seedlings was borne of the realisation that managing your vegetable garden to provide you and your family with a constant supply of fresh organic produce was the great challenge for most home gardeners. The reason for that being mainly, that most available seedlings on the market are sold by the punnet. For some things this works well, but for others, it generally means an abundance of one thing for a short period of time and then none for the next couple of months.

We decided that individual seedlings would help to avoid this "Feast or Famine" scenario. It allows people to get into a regular routine with their garden just planting exactly what they need every fortnight or so. It's not rocket science really. If you eat 2 lettuces a week then you need to plant 4 a fortnight or 8 each month to keep on top of supply.

It also means that by doing a bit in the garden each week it won't be a huge chore. In fact you will probably find it a lot more enjoyable. Get the kids involved too. Bring them along and let them choose from our healthy Organic "Pogs".
