Fees start at $75 for a standard appointment and increase according to any additional time required. Reduced fees are charged for valid concession card holders and children under 16 years of age. Medicare rebates can be claimed electronically and immediately at the reception desk.

There may be occasions where more time is needed than a standard consultation to adequately address all of the concerns presented. It always helps to book a longer appointment should this be required.

Home visits are available to patients whose medical condition does not allow them to attend the surgery. To obtain a home visit, contact the surgery during office hours as early as possible to allow for the doctors to arrange their time accordingly. The doctors at Port Stephens Medical Centre also attend patients in local nursing homes and hostels.

Conveniently located at 2 Keel Street Salamander Bay, Port Stephens Medical Centre has a large dedicated off street car park with disabled access for patients. There is no need to have to compete with crowded shopping mall car parking or street parking to access high quality health care.

Hours of business are Monday to Saturday, with appointments available 8am to 5.30pm from Monday to Friday, and 8am to 11.30am on Saturday.
