Pooley Wines

Pooley Wines is a small, family-owned wine company producing premium Tasmanian wines from two vineyards in the Coal River Valley, southern Tasmania. The late Denis and Margaret Pooley planted the family's first vines in 1985. Today, the business is managed by their son, John Pooley, supported by his son, viticulturalist Matthew Pooley and daughter, winemaker Anna Pooley.

Each year, we carefully hand pick our grapes and take them to our small winery to be crushed on the same day. Small batch winemaking allows us to treat each parcel of fruit differently, allowing for true expression of terroir.
