Polyfonix, 92.3fm (3ZZZ)

Polyfonix is the Multicultural Youth program of Melbourne’s Ethnic Community Radio Station – the voice of Melbourne’s multicultural youth in Australia. It broadcasts from our studios in Fitzroy in English with a 10% of content in another language (which varies). The program was created by 3ZZZ to encourage young people to participate in community radio. Since 2004, Polyfonix has been the starting ground for young broadcasters before moving on to an ethnic program on 3ZZZ as well as other stations.

Polyfonix is run entirely by volunteers. Broadcasters dedicated their time to ensure that the voice of ethnic youth is represented on the Melbourne’s community. Different groups broadcast the Polyfonix has given variety to the program. We encourage young people from different ethnic background to participate in our program.

Polyfonix airs every Saturday night from 10pm to 11pm on 92.3fm (in Melbourne) and can be heard online via the 3ZZZ website or TuneIn. Past episodes and selected podcasts of the program can be downloaded from our website. Visit www.polyfonix.com.au for more information.
