Pipecon Pty Ltd

Pipecon is a family owned and operated company based in Ballarat.

Lead by Andrew and Maria Mahar, the founders of Pipecon; whom began their careers with Central Highland Water (CHW) and the Shire of Bungaree respectively. In 1993, after gaining valuable experience in the Construction Department at CHW and a number of promotions, Andrew left and began his own company. Initially Andrew Mahar Excavations and then with a name change to Pipecon in 1999.

Specializing in Civil Construction, the majority of Pipecons' work is through state and local government authorities and developers.

The company now has over 50 employees and is recognised as an industry leader in undertaking large scale sewer and water infrastructure projects. Diversifying in recent years into handling all types of civil construction projects.
